Top surgery and aftercare fund

Hi everyone.

I'm finally getting top surgery this August! (UPDATE: surgery date was pushed back a month due to medications for my disability so it's now in August)

I'm not good at asking for money or help so this feels really weird. Also, I've been sharing this publicly to strangers so please know how uncomfortable this is for me but also how much I appreciate everyone donating, sharing and even taking the time to read this. Your kindness means the world to me.

At this moment I don't know how much it will cost. I'm still waiting to hear from insurance and all that. So to start off and hopefully be safe I'm setting my goal at 5k. Hopefully that will cover what insurance doesn't.

On top of the financial uncertainty, I don't have any help with recovery so hopefully I'll raise enough extra money to fly a family member or friend to stay with me for help while I recover.

If you know me you know I would help anyone with whatever I can. So anything helps. Even just a share.

A little more about me... I'm 47 years old and just started my transition 9 months ago. I mean I've been me forever so it doesn't feel like a transition only I just started the T.

I'm two spirit/trans man.

Growing up i never even knew this was even a possibility. So I'm feeling very happy and grateful to finally live in the body I've always dreamed of. (I mean it's an older body but not too late hehe)

Help make my old man dreams come true.
