Your Urgent Love & Support for Max Campbell
Donation protected
Dearest friends and family, we have before us an adversity that no one wants to experience; however, so many do. Most of us know or have known someone, whether a loved one, friend or acquaintance, who has suffered from addiction. Our family is facing this and we need your help…in any way you can offer it. Many of you know my nephew, Max; my brother’s youngest son. Max is a fiercely proud, independent, strong, funny, loving young man…who has found himself at mercy of and in the grip of addiction.
My brother and his family had to make the difficult decision to admit Max to rehab on New Year’s Day, where we hope he remains for a minium of three months. Max has successfully completed the initial 20 days of the faith-based program in Georgia; this means he has earned opportunities to connect with his family.
Addicts often believe they don’t matter, are not loved, and are not worthy of support or good things; we want to show him otherwise and ensure he knows the power of our love for him. Our first ask from everyone is to let Max know that he DOES matter. We hope you will be willing to send a card or letter for Max to my brother’s home (PM me for address). Alternatively, you may add your thoughts, prayers, good vibes, love…whatever you have…in the form of a post and my brother will share it with Max. He just needs to know that he is surrounded and uplifted by care, love, and peace…this is the most important part of this plea.
Secondly, we ask you to search your hearts and determine if you are able to offer a donation of any amount toward this fight. As you can imagine, the cost of rehab is high and not covered by insurance; the full cost is resting on my brother and Audri’s shoulders. My brother is a proud and strong man, yet is able to lay his pride aside to ask for this support from those who can offer it. A donation of any amount is deeply appreciated and there is no amount to small.
Thank you all…
