My name is Rand Haddad,

I am from Gaza before the war.

I am 24 years old.

I studied Architecture, and I was supposed to graduate this year.

I was extremely excited to finish this academic year, to graduate, and to begin paving the path I had always dreamed of, a path I had been drawing and working on for five years.

Everything was going well, and I was preparing for my graduation project. I had also prepared my artwork for an exhibition that I had been eagerly awaiting. I was working with companies outside Gaza and conducting training courses here in Gaza, and everything was going smoothly until that day came...

On October 7th, all my dreams were destroyed...

I had two homes instead of one, I had a university, I had a job, and I had people who loved me. Now, nothing remains. Everything was destroyed, everything ended...

Our home is gone, our memories are gone, our life is gone, all my work is gone, my exhibition was destroyed, and my laptop, which I used to reach out to the world, is also gone.

But I am ambitious, and I will not stop here. I will start from scratch, I will begin again...

My only chance to stand on my feet again, to revive my passion, and to help myself and my family is to leave the country because there is one final and only opportunity waiting for me...

I have tried every possible way to leave the country, but everything is difficult.
