Hello! My name is Mere and I run a small online business in which the mass majority of it is creating plushies and stuffed animals. I've been running it for over a decade now between running my website, traveling to conventions and events to sell, and fufilling as many commission orders as I can. I run this shop by myself with 99% of my stock being handmade.

My main goal is to be able to take the next steps in helping my business grow a bit. It would be a dream come true if this became a full time thing for me, someday. But for now, I would like to just get if off the ground.

I didn't want to resort to this, but over the years, I've ended up spending more money than making trying to run it. This has resulted in future projects and business improvments being put on hold and is why I have resorted to starting this GoFundMe Page.

If you would like to help support me financially, you could obviously purchase any item I have up in my shop so far. If there's nothing you're looking for right now but still would like to support a small art business. Any generous offer (Even as small as $1) would be greatly appreciated.

What's in it for me?

Oh! Don't worry. I don't plan on letting my donors here leave empty-handed. The last thing I want is to just sit around and beg for money without passing out rewards. But it will depend on the amount you donate. The rewards can be anything as small as a discount or coupon to my shop OR can be as big as a free commission order. These rewards are optional and can be used at ANY time (only once per doner), so there's no need to rush on using them either. But, again, it will depend on the amount you donate. The bigger the amount, the bigger the "thank you." Just be sure you at least leave an email if you would like one.

I don't have any money to give you.

That's perfectly fine. Eating and paying your bills are more important. You can always support me by sharing my website or my GoFundMe link with everyone you know.

Why don't you just make more plushies to sell?

Currently working on that. However, it is very time-consuming to stock up by making them by hand. And again, this shop is run by ONE PERSON. Manufacturing some of my designs would give me more time to work on new projects.

Why don't you just go to more art shows to sell your stuff?

Again, that costs money. Convention traveling will be a heavy budget loss if the business doesn't pick up.

I have no expectations of reaching a $3,000 goal. It was just a number I put down. However, running a business like mine by yourself can take a lot out of you. Any amount of generosity matters.
