Illness does not define you, your strength and courage does

With a broken heart on behalf of Juan, Rene, & Jaden’s wishes we are asking for any help to help with funeral expenses that the family will be left with. Our sweet soul Raegen was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cervical cancer in July 2021.

She went thru 2 months of chemo and radiation for 3.5 months at Froedtert.

She went into remission at time. Unfortunately the cancer returned in October 2023 with a vengeance .Her scans showed it now was in her uterus, lymph nodes, intestines, lungs, liver, esophagus.

At that time she was given 12-18 months. She started taking "Keytruda" to increase longevity. She then developed blood clots in her legs and lungs. She also developed a "fistula" in her abdomen. This fistula became very painful for her. They couldn't do surgery to repair it due to her strength.

Unfortunately, the fistula bore holes into her intestines and organs.

Air entered her chest cavity from it. She turned 44 on April 8th and on April 15th she had emergency surgery because of the air in her chest. The Drs at St. Agnes in Fond Du Lac were unable to fix it. They stopped surgery and closed her up. She's also had several blood transfusions, she lost blood when the tumors opened and bled internally.

At this time, Monday, April 15th, the Drs can keep her somewhat comfortable for about 2 days. She will not leave the hospital.

She hasn't been able to work since the cancer started. At this time we're asking for help for her burial and funeral expenses.

Juan, Rene' + Jaden know her wishes.

She will be laid to rest at Most Precious Blood cemetery in New London, right next to Mom and Dad.
