Definition of a Coach: To the best of our ability, combine value and truth with training.

One of the greatest values given to me by a southern mother was to be the best at what you commit to, even if it's just sweeping someone's floor. So, as a coach, trainer, teacher, and mentor, I hear her words and transfer them, preparing my youth with the same values that lead to them becoming productive members of society and life, not only the skills in fighting.

Boxing is a demanding and jealous sport. I'm guilty of that, too. We only want you in the gym practicing & practicing, and many days, forgetting a fighter has an outside life.

HELP-HELP

Marcos and I recently traveled to Orlando so he could compete in the Junior Olympics as a deserving youth in his 165lb weight class. Strangely, for reasons I won't disclose at this moment, Marcos was disqualified.

I cannot begin to put into words how painfully crappy we were affected by the outcome, and it was very hard on the mental digestive system of his family and friends as well. We sleep, eat, study, and know the most important rules when it comes to events.

With his family and small network, we've worked hard to recover & will balance what needs balancing on a national level and in Las Vegas, Nevada, in June. This is where your show of love and understanding is so important to us in a narrow window of just "nine" short days to get him on a plane to regain his name to fame and rankings.

All of our funds for food, travel, and lodging were exhausted as a result of said disqualification minus an offer of a refund. LMBO. Are my expectations too high?

Time is short. Your HELP is needed. Closed mouths don't eat!
