Hello, My name is Melissa Wojcik and I am fundraising for my husband Steve Wojcik to get a new heart. Steve is an amazing husband, father to his daughter Izzy, son, and friend. He loves his family very much

Steve suffered a heart attack back in January. On June 16th, Steve was admitted to Albany Medical Center due to heart failure. After many tests, doctors found that Steve’s heart is failing and it was determined that he will need a new heart. He was transferred to Westchester Medical Center, NY for better options for heart failure. He’s currently has a balloon pump and impella device to help give his heart better blood flowed the rest of his body. It has been determined that Steve will need a new heart.

Steve and I could use all the help we could get. With Steve out of work and I’m traveling to Westchester, bills and travel expenses will pile up. We would so gratefully appreciate to all who are able to help us ease the additional financial burden to focus on what’s important, a strong , healthy new heart.
