My name is Kahli, Mum to 14 year old Kyarnah.

Kyarnah was diagnosed with Absent seizures when she was 9 years old.

By the time puberty hit the seizures had escalated to Tonic Clonics.

Kyarnah isn't eligible for NDIS assistance and supports as her only diagnos is Epilepsy.

NDIS doesn't see it as a life long disability.

Kyarnah takes 42 tablets a week and has recently started experiencing Migraines.

She also hasn't been able to attend school since May 2023, meaning I haven't been able to work as I'm her full time carer.

I've started this go fund me in hopes to raise the funds for a seizure alert alarm system for her bedroom to avoid missing any seizures while she is sleeping.

Without trying to raise funds,i wouldn't be able to pay for this alone as I'm only on a carers benefit and can't work.

I understand this time of year is tough for us all.
