"Your friend is your needs answered."
Her name is Niki. Up until last week, she was just like you, a woman making her way deciding where her path would lead her. Well, fate stepped in.
While delivering food for those who needed, she slipped and fell, shattering her ankle. She is not to walk, or to place any weight on her leg. So far she has not required surgery, but that too can change. She needs the funds now, to supply her basic needs, food, medical bills, living expenses.
She like so many of us, she was one injury away from misfortune. Everything donated will be utilized to keep Niki afloat until she can return to her activities. That journey may be in 4 weeks, or it may be longer.
Why would I ask, for her? Why do I ask you? May I share a bit about Niki?
She is a warm, loving woman, who has spent her life in-service to others. As a psychotherapist, as a meditation coach, as a supporter to other women. In the last two years, Niki has endured loss that would break the spirit of many. Her dad died two years ago, then her mom, last year. Through it all she has carried her heartbreak with grace, supporting other family members, even as they drifted away from her.
Like many of us, asking for what she needs is a work in progress, so I now do for her, what she has done for me, answered my need. She needs our help and support, now. Please join me in offering support. Every bit helps. Let's show how friends answers the needs of "the" one. I lovingly thank you in advance. Blessings.
