My name is Jaci, daughter to your favorite local server, Karen Tindall, and she needs your help.

In November, my mom was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer. In doing the testing for her breast cancer, the doctors found a completely separate lung cancer.

In late December, she underwent a Right Robotic Assisted Thoracoscopy with Apical Lobe Segmentectomy and Mediastinal and Regional Lymphadenectomy. The good news is that they were able to remove all of the mass in her lung and staged it at 1A. They caught it early. She is on her way to recovering for this surgery. She will need scans every 6 months to make sure the lung cancer is completely gone.

She had a lot of testing done for her breast cancer and we were very thankful to find out that she does not carry the genetic breast cancer mutation that runs in our family. She was finally cleared and ready to go for that surgery. At the end of January, they performed a Lumpectomy with Sentinel Node Removal. She is still recovering from that surgery too and will be starting radiation soon.

With the two surgeries falling in different years, my parents have two separate $5000 deductibles that need to be met, on top of her additional medical bills and unexpected costs. She has also been out of work (Station 51 Antioch) since late December so she has suffered a severe loss of wages.

My mom loves Antioch and she LOVES working and misses all of her regulars dearly. She is doing her best to get well and be able to go back. If you feel inclined to donate, she would be forever thankful.
