My name is Aya, I'm 19 years old, and my sister, Menna, is 18. We want to get an education and achieve what we studied for. I hope kind people will help my sister and me go abroad to study. I got a 94.1 average in my high school exams, and my sister, Menna, got a 96. We achieved these scores despite the war and displacement, without electricity or water, and while we were hungry. During exams, we moved from place to place. We are four girls, and our father is unemployed. He used to be a laborer, but when the war came, he became unemployed. The war also took our home, and now we live in a tent. My mother's whole life revolved around our education, and her dream was to see us succeed in our final exams. But the war deprived her of stability, yet my sister and I insisted on making her happy. Despite the displacement, the war, and the hunger, we continued studying. Sometimes we studied by moonlight, sometimes we went to the neighbors' houses for light, and sometimes we went to public places. Thank God, we made her proud. I got a 94.1 average and my sister Menna got a 96, but our joy is incomplete because we can't afford the expenses and costs of studying, and we wish someone could help us achieve our dream and make our mother happy, who has strived all her life for our education.
