I am Teresa Enciso, sister of Jesús Abel Enciso from Culiacán. Our family has suffered a devastating loss: narcoterrorist violence stole my sweet 12-year-old niece from us—a girl full of light and dreams she’ll never fulfill. Now my brother, his wife Gabriela, and their son Sebastián (who once had a sister but now stands alone) face indescribable pain, victims of the terror plaguing Mexico.

Amid this nightmare, we want to help them survive: to get them far from Culiacán and give them a chance to start over in safety, where fear won’t rob them of what little peace remains.
