Hi, I’m Radeen.
I’m writing this with a heavy heart.
My Bangladeshi friend — one of the kindest, most hopeful people I know — is watching his world fall apart in front of him.
His father has been fighting cancer for the last 6 months.
Six months of seeing doctors helping to do the best they can.
Six months of watching the strongest man in their family grow weaker, while the bills grow bigger.
They’ve used every single penny they had.
Every saving.
Every loan they could take.
Everything.
And yet, they still need £15,000 to keep his father’s treatment going.
My friend is just a university student. He’s not earning. He’s trying to hold himself together while also holding up a family that depends on him. He has an 8-year-old sister who still asks when her dad will come home healthy… and an 11-year-old brother who tries to act strong but cries when no one is watching.
Their future is hanging by a thread.
This family is drowning — not because they didn’t try, but because life pushed them deeper than anyone should ever have to go.
What breaks me most is my friend’s dream.
He wants to become a top-notch AI developer.
He has the talent. He has the passion.
But right now, his dream is buried under hospital reports and unpaid bills. Instead of building his future, he’s begging life not to take his father away.
This fundraiser is more than medical costs.
It’s a lifeline.
It’s hope.
It’s the only chance this family has to save their father and protect two young kids who deserve to grow up with both love and stability.
If you can donate — even £1 — it’ll mean more than you can imagine.
You’re not just helping with treatment.
You’re giving this family a chance to breathe again, to hope again, to fight again.
Thank you for reading.
Thank you for caring.
