Help Us Become a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit and Keep Pets Safe While Their Owners Seek Recovery Services
Our Mission
At Recovery Ranch Sanctuary, we ensure that pets don’t need to be surrendered or euthanized because their owners are seeking recovery services for substance abuse disorder. We believe that providing high-quality pet care and services while their owners focus on recovery is not only beneficial for the pets but also supports the healing process of their owners. Our commitment to preserving the bond between humans and animals, even during challenging times, reflects our dedication to both animal welfare and supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
Why This Matters
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we will be able to:
Apply for grants to fund our programs.
Provide tax deductions for our donors.
Enhance our credibility and expand our outreach.
Our Goal
We need to raise $5,000 to cover the legal and administrative costs of becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This status will allow us to receive grants and tax-deductible donations to expand our impact. We have already applied for capacity-building grants that will help us open our kennels, but we need to complete the IRS process first. This can take 4 weeks to 8 months, and starting now with a professional working alongside our founder ensures our success.
