Youngest Welsh Person to Summit Everest

Hi, my name is Callum Hughes. I’m a 17-year-old climber from Wales, and I’m on a mission to become one of the youngest people from the UK to summit Mount Everest and the youngest from Wales. This journey isn’t just about reaching the top—it’s about inspiring young people to believe that no dream is too big if you’re willing to chase it. Too often, young people either talk themselves out of their dreams or get talked out of them by others. I want to prove that with focus, resilience, and hard work, those dreams are absolutely possible. 

Later this year, I plan to embark on an expedition as a vital step toward preparing for my ultimate goal. This journey will help build the skills, experience, and mindset needed for success.
