Youngest American Female to Summit Mt. Everest!

Donation protected
Namaste world!

My name is River Savante and I am training to summit Mt. Everest next year!! (May 2024) I am 16 years old, and when I summit, I will still be 16, the youngest American female to stand on top of the world!

My summit date is set for June 1, 2024, and I have 8 months left of intense high-altitude training in Nepal ahead of me. This is a commitment to inspire and motivate the world, and I am up for the challenge!

But I need your help! I am in need if sponsors and funding to make this happen. If I don’t have the funds, I will not be able to attempt my Everest summit. Please consider a donation to this project, and please share this page with your networks!

I am a global citizen. My mom is a cultural anthropologist, and we own a global adventure company, so I have grown up around the world, and my life has led me to this point on an inspiring journey through many countries and adventures, living amongst many beautiful cultures, working on humanitarian projects, and exploring and adventuring the raw beauty around me, from rock climbing to free-diving, I am familiar with raw adventure and maxing your levels and dreams. Along this journey, my favorite place of all has been Nepal. Not just for its jaw-dropping nature, but for its culture and values, which have blown my heart and soul wide open.

We currently live in Kathmandu, Nepal. Now, I am an expedition guide for my company's Everest Base Camp Expedition. But soon, I will go all the way to the top. I just returned from my first Himalayan summit: Imja Tse, 20,500 ft. It was so amazing!! I set the record for youngest American female on Imja Tse too. I have one more high peak to do before Everest: Mera Peak in the Everest region, 22,500 ft..

My dream involves many people. And a mountain. And a world record. This is my biggest goal to date and I am inviting you all to JOIN ME on this quest! Please also join me in setting your own epic goal and know that you can do anything you dream. If you dream it, you can do it. But remember, 'Dreams don't work unless you do.' This is my motto. I wish to inspire teens to get up and dream and do. I wish to inspire everyone to remember that we are all one, and that every one of us matters, and we all deserve the chance to thrive, and are ALL capable of following our dreams and believing in ourselves.

I aim to use this platform to support education in Nepal, especially for females in rural villages, where I have worked since the big earthquake. Nepal has given me so much and I want to give back by teaming up with my Sherpa family and getting to the top of the world together, supporting each other, and lifting each other up, as the whole world should do. Whatever background we all come from, if we work together, we can do anything. We will set this record together, and together we will accomplish this dream.
Join the adventure, follow my training and summit, spread the word, and send me good energy for safety and success on this mission to the moon! (well, kind of!) I will make Nepal proud, America proud, my family proud, and myself proud. Proud of my dreams and goals, dedication, awareness, and absolute love for Nepal and this mighty mountain, and every step of my life that will get me to the top of the world. And when I get there I will look around and say, 'Namaste world!'

Please join this ground-breaking adventure and be part of our 'village' too. Dream with us, do with us, and join us as one. Find your own Everest dream, and climb it to the stars, as dreams are not meant to be dreams, but inspiration and encouragement to live and achieve and believe, to hope and pray, and lead and do.

Thank you for supporting this project! Let's do this!

Dream Up,
River Savante
