Dear Friends,
As many of you know I started a not for profit basketball program called EPIC Sports ( Every Player is Crucial ) three years ago with the goal of providing opportunities for inner city kids to develop and hone not only their athletic skills , but with a strong emphasis on academic achievement and personal growth.
We have three teams comprised of 100 percent scholarship kids from Harlem and the South Bronx ( with the exception of my two sons ) , called the Epic Sports YoungBucks . Our 5th , 6th and 8th grade boys have made strides in so many ways as their report cards have shown , as well as the numerous East Coast Tourneys in which they have either won or placed in the finals or semi- finals. These teams have qualified for Nationals , and we are hoping to raise funds so that they may participate In Boston and Orlando Final Tournaments ( a dream come true for these boys!).
Epic  Sports YoungBucks has become truly a family for these kids and has made a huge difference in their lives in so many ways. The support they have received will surely open doors to a brighter future and I am so grateful for all of you that have helped along the way!
