Young-Adult Type One Diabetic Uninsured

Donation protected
I haven't been able to focus on anything since covid because of the stress that has sent my levels out of wack with no stability. Since covid, I have lost insurance. The cost of living as a type one diabetic is no obtainable at my age, it is also not obtainable for any diabetic without insurance. Having a pre-existing condition puts my rates through the roof. Yes I have applied for benefits! The money I receive will strictly be for medical purposes. On insurance I have been to the ER and ICU; I also cannot obtain my LIFE SAVING INSULIN without a prescription and I cannot see my endocrinologist without insurance. In America there are countless type one diabetics DYING after getting kicked off parents insurance because they cannot afford the cost of living plus the cost of managing this autoimmune disease. My current treatment is to have my glucose monitored with my Dexcom G6 device (my levels fluctuate too frequently to go back to finger pricks. I'm too prone to diabetic seizures, as I have had at least 3. I have been to the ICU for DKA. All of this to say that Dexcom is the safest and in the long run, the cheapest way to go.) to keep me from having diabetic seizures from being too low or diabetic coma for being too high, as I struggle with both. I am currently on Humalog insulin for my medication and to work with my insulin pump. I use a Medtronic insulin pump and have to pay for pump supply such as tubing. I have to see a diabetes specialist (endocrinologist) typically twice a year if my levels are stable, but my levels have always been tough to manage so I even go as frequently as once every 3-6 weeks with also having had blood work done prior. All of this as a part time employee and part time university student at 24 years old not even having gone into finances such as RENT or FOOD or BILLS. Speaking of food, that is a huge key to diabetes management, yet the healthy food is the most expensive. Please help as well as spread awareness for Type One Diabetics. I will literally DIE if I cannot sustain these finances.
