We (Ms. Ashley Tucker, Ms. Cailin Schiller, Ms. Sughaiyar Gilyard and Ms. Rachel Campbell) are SO excited to be raising money for the Young Women's Group! The Young Women's Group is an identity-based group of young women with disabilities at our public special education high school in Brooklyn. Our school population is over 70% male, and the Young Women's Group addresses the need for mentorship in young women of color and provides opportunities to connect and attend field experiences as a group. Young Women's Group is a space where strong, resilient, empowered young women with disabilities can come together to build community.

Your support will allow our young women to engage in enrichment, empowerment and community activities. Costs will cover food (like pancake breakfasts!), materials, guest speakers, and community trips!
