Young Teacher in Need of Medical Assistance
Donation protected
There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family. My name is Ugo Onwuka and I am raising funds for my best friend and fellow classmate Autumn Harvey. Autumn graduated from Berea College in August 2022 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in history. She was the only Black woman history major who also graduated with 2 academic awards, 2 service awards, 2 fellowships, and as a published poet. Upon graduating, Autumn was accepted into the Teach For America program where she went through extensive trainings to become high school history teacher.
Recently, due to psoriasis, a severe staph infection, and MRSA, Autumn was hospitalized forcing her to have to take a medical leave from work for 2 months. She has been released from the hospital, but her immune system needs time to recover. The money donated will go towards covering her medical bills, rent, transportation, and other living expenses. No amount is too small and if you have it in your heart to give, thank you. Sharing is caring and we can only make it through by supporting one another.
