Empowering youth of all backgrounds to be community ambassadors of science and technology is crucial to the future of our society. By reaching out to underserved communities, Young Scientist Academy gives today's youth the opportunity to get involved in and research socially relevant and themes centered around environmental and urban sciences, computer engineering, and scientific communication.

In a fun and creative environment, Young Scientist Academy (non profit 501(c)(3)) programs engage students’ innate interest in the natural world, allowing them to explore real world research in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math - STEAM topics.

Our priority is to promote youth participation from underserved and downtown communities that are often faced with personal or environmental adversity by providing services at minimal expense to participants or no cost through scholarships. Through these career-building experiences, we aim to provide leadership skills and confidence in our youth to establish partnerships and service opportunities for local communities.

There is no homework, no additional assignments and no grade involved with the YSA. We are all about promoting fun in science through active learning in a non-competitive environment.

YSA strives to create greater diversity in the sciences to connect the world with a common goal to improve human well being and maintain environmental stability. As agents of change, our students will move forward with innovative perspectives to broaden possibilities to discover answers.

Help provide our youth with the tools they need to become our future ambassadors in science and technology. Your donations will assist our students in finding more opportunities to excel in science and expand our reach to include a diverse student population.
