Upcoming Aussie Rugby League players to play in Serbia

We are the supporting committee for Ukraine Rugby League here in Australia and are proud to let you, potential sponsors or supporters know that The European U’19s championships are upcoming in Serbia and we have two young superstars joining the team.

Ukraine is one of six nations who will compete in the Championship, the other nations being England, France, USA, Scotland and Serbia.

Phoenix Death is the captain of the U19’s Mona Vale Raiders team on the Northern Beaches and Ryan Jurkans local Singleton junior has been selected to represent Ukraine and join the National players to represent in the Championships.

Phoenix and Ryan were part of the Ukraine Rugby League team that made its Australian debut in both the Harmony 9’s side in October 2023 and the Ukraine Tridents Rugby League 13’s side against South Sudan in November 2023.

Phoenix and Ryan along with their coach Dan Beardshaw, who is very experienced across both local league level, Ron Massey/Sydney Shield and National U20s and in the emerging international level with Scotland, Poland and Cambodia. Dan volunteers his time to help grow the game and upskilling coaches and referees and their supporters Phoenix's Dad Jason and Ryan's brother Brock will travel to Serbia.

We are looking for support and donations to support the boys and lessen the financial burden on their upcoming trip to Serbia. This is a huge milestone for the boys who are very passionate about representing their heritage in a championship that will have worldwide exposure. It will be live streamed and be all over social media platforms. This is a very exciting opportunity for not only the boys but also their families and us Ukrainian Rugby League as we make a name for ourselves.
