Hello friends,

My name is Russell Sarre. I am an Australian-born trained classical guitarist and professional composer. I earned my Doctorate in music composition from Rice University, Houston, Texas. After developing a successful Middle School guitar program, I am creating an independent, classical guitar ensemble program for young classical guitarists up to 18 years old. This program will offer both technique instruction and ensemble performances.

This is a unique program and will, I believe, offer an exciting opportunity for kids to learn classical guitar and play ensemble concerts.

A successful community music program needs commitment from students, their instructor, and their families, along with financial support to ensure that participation costs are low enough to make the program accessible to as many students as possible. As this program takes form, I hope to raise $3,000 to meet the program's starting needs.

Your donation will go directly to ensuring the guitarists have what they need to succeed, including chairs, music stands, other new studio equipment, and hardship assistance.
