Suddenly and tragically, Isabel became a widow and single mother. She and Joshua (the love of her life) spent the last 3 years together raising their blended family of 5 children, now ages 6-11. Her youngest 2 and his 3, they were a family getting started, sharing much life together. Isabel became a widow, although with no legal rights, as they were not married.
On August 26, 2025, Joshua died tragically leaving an immense and unimaginable void. He had an immeasurable impact on his family and community. The last 3 years, Isabel had been blessed to fill a mother role to Joshua’s 3 young children. They became like her own. Isabel was employed by Joshua’s company and drove his vehicle. She was completely devoted to him and their children. With his death, she has relinquished her vehicle and is fervently looking for employment. All this while in the very raw & painful early days of grief, mourning her beloved, their future plans, the dividing of their family, the separation from his 3 children she loved and cared for as her own, who had become like siblings to her kids. Now, in a financial jam to make ends meet for her family of 3 that was, that was only a few short weeks ago, a family of seven. It is unimaginable & unbearable pain, loss upon loss for all of Joshua’s loved ones and everyone left with his absence in their lives. But God….
An emergency fund is needed to keep life going while this amazing woman fights to get back on her feet, replace her vehicle and find gainful employment.
Isabel is very private and would never agree to accepting charity. She has a hugely kind heart and is a giver. Givers simply give and give and give, expecting nothing in return. She is a survivor and fighter. She is very close to our family. Life has dealt her a series of blows in her short 40 years. While she is resilient, she is feeling very, very low and defeated.
As an outsider looking in, we (the Brown family) would like to facilitate something extraordinary, to help Isabel and her littles during this desperately dark time. The bills and expenses don’t stop when it seems like they should. Instantly, life is tragically and significantly altered. Financial relief would greatly alleviate some pressure and difficulty for Isabel and her children.
Our family has big hearts for widows and orphans. We have not obtain permission from Isabel to set this up for she and her kids. I did finally tell her it was done. She is very grateful. I can think of no better way to quietly and lovingly, behind the scenes, let the Lord do what He does and bless this family through His people. His gift.
More than anything, your prayers are greatly appreciated as so many navigate this incredibly difficult and delicate time together. Her/their story, God’s glory. We are simply supporting characters. The Lord has a plan, always for our good and His glory. Times like these are extremely difficult and Isabel’s faith has grown very weary. Please help us shine light into the darkness, while she finds her way and gets back on her feet, on this new path. It absolutely takes a village and we are grateful to be a part of hers.
Thank you in advance, especially for your thoughts and prayers.
God bless you and keep you in His care, providing for your every concern. Amen.
Sincerely & fondly,
Kim & Jim Brown
