Rebekah’s Road to Recovery After a Devastating Accident
On March 30, 2026, our beloved Rebekah’s life changed in an instant. A large pickup truck landed on top of her small sedan during a horrific automobile accident on the freeway, leaving her with severe, life‑altering injuries. She is now facing a long and painful recovery, and we are humbly asking for support during this unimaginable time.

Rebekah is a devoted mother, daughter, sister, fiancé' and friend. Seeing her in such intense pain has been heartbreaking for all of us. Her injuries include a broken nose; a shattered right kneecap, heel, ankle, and foot; and a deep laceration to her left hand with torn tendons. She has had 6 surgeries, which we hope there will be no need for more.

Despite everything, Rebekah’s first thoughts after the crash were not of herself. With adrenaline still pumping, she crawled out of the passenger side of her crushed car, terrified she was dying and desperate to reach her baby. A good Samaritan rushed to help and safely removed her daughter from the back seat. The moment Rebekah saw her baby in safe arms, she collapsed and lost consciousness.

By the grace of God, baby Aliyah walked away with only a bruise. Rebekah was not as fortunate.

A Family Under Strain
Rebekah’s fiancé, Marcel, was unable to return to work for a few weeks after the accident. Even though he has returned to work, securing daycare while he works third shift, he is not getting much sleep during the day because he is caring for their baby until they can secure daycare for his work and sleep hours—something difficult to find and expensive to maintain. Their only vehicle was destroyed in the crash, leaving Marcel without transportation to visit Rebekah, get to work (he has been getting rides temporarily) or take their daughter to childcare once arrangements are made.

Although she gets a little better each day, and the pain isn't as intense, she still has a long road ahead of her. Rebekah will be non‑weight‑bearing for at least 16 weeks and will then spend months in rehabilitation learning to walk again. Because they live in an upstairs apartment, she cannot return home during this time. Family across the state offered to take her in, but Rebekah and Marcel cannot bear the thought of being separated from each other or from their baby during such a vulnerable season.

Through all of this, Rebekah worries far more about her family’s needs than her own. She has always been the strongest person in our family of seven—a fighter with a heart full of love.

How You Can Help
Rebekah rarely asks for help, but right now she truly needs it. Any support—practical, spiritual, or financial—will make a meaningful difference.

Ways to help:

Prayers for healing, peace, and provision

A donated vehicle, if someone has one available

Monetary donations, of any amount

For those who know her personally: calls, video chats, or in‑person visits

Every gift will help cover medical co-pays, household expenses because of lost wages, childcare costs, transportation needs, and the long months of rehabilitation ahead. Most importantly, your support will help keep this young family together during the hardest chapter of their lives.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.

May God bless you and make His face shine upon you.
