We want to thank everyone in our large, loving community who have helped in so many ways. Your texts and calls, your prayers, your love, and your hugs have kept our family strong during this time of grief.
Young Jin Kim. He was many great things to all of us; Brother, Cousin, Uncle, Loyal Friend, and Beloved Son.
He was called so many things by so many people. We were lucky enough to be called his friends, while he was known as Big Brother or “Oppa” to many.
The void created by the sudden death of someone as beloved as Young is still hard to grasp. Taken too soon to rest in heaven, we will no longer be blessed with his presence. His big heart, his willingness to always help, the memories we’ve created & shared… We will forever hold onto his smile and his distinctive laughs.
Those who knew Young, truly loved him. He offered lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.
These interactions were valued equally by Young. He sincerely wanted to know how your day was going and if he could help in any way, he would be the first to give the shirt off his back to you if he knew you needed it and the first to throw a punch if anyone messed with his closest friends. Because he was truly loyal, selfless, and loved by many, he will be forever missed.
Even now, Young’s generosity continues through organ donation....a 12 year old receiving his heart and a 30 year old being granted his liver and kidney. His altruism is the legacy he has left, and it is beautiful that it will never be forgotten.
Young Jin Kim- There are no goodbyes for us, wherever you are, you are always in our hearts- Forever, Young.
While we may not be able to release Young’s family and loved ones of their emotional burdens, we can come together and do what we can with monetary contributions.
Thank you for your generosity. All are welcome to the service being held at Heritage Funeral Service Saturday 10am.
