Zachary is such a loving young man! Always willing to help others and such a hard worker!!!

Zachary was officially diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma this past Tuesday after we took him to Wake Medical Sunday night. They kept him and performed the biopsy on Monday. Tuesday they did more testing, Bone Marrow Biopsy and placed a port. They had rushed his biopsy from Monday and spoke the words no one wants to hear. The cancer is very aggressive and we are praying that it is not spread or reached his bones. We will know all that in the coming days.

Zachary is the main provider for his home and as everyone that knows him it is killing him not to work. The doctor has taken him off of work because this is going to be a tough fight and he cannot be putting any strain on his body.

Zachary unfortunately has had many other surgeries in his years with craniosynostosis, reconstructive of his skull( 40 plates and 20 screws placed) hydrocephalus and many shunt replacements. We pray that this will not effect his working shunt or his implants in his skull.

We pray that he will beat this but it will take a toll on him. He might have several different rounds after this first round!
