MORAH'S STORY
Hi! My name is Morah, and I love chocolate. I hope you do too! 

Recently, my city allowed construction on a steep slope above my home that many smart engineers said was unsafe. My family tried to tell people about the problem, and we asked the builder to talk things out and find a solution.  They ignored us, and the builder hired expensive attorneys to fight our family.  It cost my family a lot of money. Even though we asked my city to stop the building so my family could be safe, the city didn’t do it in time. 

I watched my parents struggle.  I knew it would cost a lot of money to make our home safe again and to pay our legal bills.  My brothers and I wanted to find a way to earn money to help.  But while we wanted to help our family, we also wanted to help others too. 

We know that there are a lot of bad things happening in the world, and there are many people who feel helpless like us because of bad situations they can’t control.  We wanted to do something to help spread a little happiness even during bad times.  We decided the world could use some Chocolate Therapy!


We rolled up our sleeves to share a smile with the world. Our whole family worked very hard to create a new, delicious and creamy, all-natural, no-sugar-added hot chocolate drink to spread a little hope and happiness to everyone!
We call it Morah Cocoa (MORAH COCOA ).  I love the name, but I really love its rich chocolatey taste without any bad or artificial ingredients or the ton of sugar that usually comes in hot chocolate. It even includes 25% of your daily Vitamin D.  It’s like happy, creamy chocolate sunshine!  Because it takes only 1 tablespoon of mix to enjoy the full gourmet flavor of a serving of Morah Cocoa, it’s perfect for use in trendy cocoa bombs.
 
We created yummy gourmet flavors like:
Creamy Vanilla, Candy Cane, Cherry Chocolate, Raspberry Cream, Coconut Delight and Macadamia Nut Chocolate!   

Now, we want to scale up production so we can share it with everyone!  Your donation will help us pay our legal bills and get the chocolate flowing to help us earn the money to make our home safe again!

WHAT HAPPENED

What you are about to read is a remarkable story that may seem like an unbelievable nightmare…except it’s true. 
It began back in July of 2019.  It’s a story of local politicians ignoring laws and high-priced attorneys attacking a young family, all to cover-up mistakes and violations on a construction site.  Numerous professional engineers in signed and stamped reports have repeatedly confirmed that the construction located on a mountain slope above this family’s home violates city and state laws and international building codes.  Even with all of this evidence, city officials chose to turn a blind eye to the problems and put the young family and their home in real jeopardy.  The legal bills soared, and the family’s situation seemed bleak; but, a light of hope began to glimmer in the heart of a little girl.  You see, our story doesn’t have to end in tragedy; with your support, our story will be filled with hope. 

Our story is actually a story of optimism sparked by the vision of a young girl and her amazing brothers who decided to take positive actions to turn their misfortune around.  They are working to help their family and share a ray of chocolate happiness with the world.   Your contribution of any amount will have a double-benefit. 

SUPPORT THE UNDERDOG
Recently, Morah’s family faced a nightmare legal battle against an unresponsive builder and city.  Their home was put in danger, and nobody with any authority would listen.
Nearly three months before the city allowed construction on a steep slope above their home, Morah’s family discovered construction problems in the plans that would put their home in danger.  They repeatedly notified the Builder, asking him to discuss the problems and to work together to find a solution.  The Builder simply ignored them and plowed forward.  The builder refused to fix the violations and instead used high-priced attorneys and legal loopholes to get him off the hook.   

At great expense, Morah’s family provided their city with over six separate stamped-and-signed engineering studies from licensed civil, structural, and geotechnical engineers.  All of these engineers concluded that the construction being allowed was in violation of city and state law and was unsafe.  The city chose to ignore these reports and allowed the construction to continue.  Highly-respected professional engineers with decades of experience all said that they had never seen a city act so negligently in willfully ignoring law; but whatever the reason, the city turned a blind eye and allowed the unsafe construction.

In court, the Builder was found to be in violation, but because of the actions of the city, the builder was able to evade correcting the problems, and Morah’s family was unjustly expected to pay for the builder’s legal fees! That’s right, the Builder was in the wrong, but because of the city’s actions and legal loopholes, Morah’s family was required to pay their own legal costs AND the high-priced attorney’s fees of the violating Builder ($200,000.00+ and growing as the builder continues to litigiously attack Morah’s family).
