YOUNG FAMILY SUFFERS TRAGIC FARMING ACCIDENT
Donation protected
You never realize just how precious life is until one day, life as you know it is forever changed. Expecting it to be like every other day. The unimaginable happened on November 13, 2022, when Karson Catey did not come home from harvesting corn. He was killed suddenly in a tragic farming accident behind the home he shared with his wife, Angela and daughter, Kennedy. Life is forever altered for this young wife and their three-year-old princess.
Karson was an exemplary husband, father, brother and son. He was dedicated to his family and friends and was always the first to generously offer support to those he knew well or had recently met. It didn’t matter to him; he was a friend to everyone. Karson was a 7th generation farmer passionate about producing row crops and raising cattle. He loved introducing his daughter and wife to many new experiences and adventures on the family farm - a favorite was quad rides around the pastures, checking cattle with the Chasse family.
As a community, we are completely shattered by our sudden loss. Karson's untimely death will forever leave a hole in our hearts. However, our calling is to rally support for Angela and Kennedy. We hope you will join us.
Our focus is to honor Karson's legacy by supporting his young family. Please join us in this mission by contributing to his funeral costs and his family’s future. In particular, supporting Angela on future living costs, supporting Kennedy's college fund, and securing the family from financial hardship while navigating this tragically devastating and emotional time.
