Young family lost Fiance and Father in 2 months
This family has to be one of the strongest families imaginable after dealing with the grief and loss they have had to overcome. Not only did this family lose a beloved son, fiance, father and brother in Eric Crossan of Springville, NY, this family has lost a well loved father and grandfather in Ronald Bacon of Arcade in just about a two month span.
The strength that this family has shown is greater than they should have to endure. The thought of losing one loved one is hard enough, but to add a second is absolutely out of the realm of possibility for most families.
It was a bright and beautiful day on May 10, 2019 until the notification came when Christen Bacon's fiance Eric Crossan had passed away due to health complications. He is survived by his two young daughters Aubree Bacon age 9 and Olivia Crossan age 4. Eric passed away at the age of 37 years of age leaving Christen with a single income and as a single widowed mother.
Eric and Christen were together since 2010 and had overcome many challenges to get to the point where they would be able to finally married. Eric not only had suddenly passed away, but he had dealt with a stint in the hospital prior to his death that left the family on one income and caused Christen to fall behind on their financial responsiveness.
As if that were not enough for this young family to endure, they had to lose another loved one. Suddenly, on July 17, 2019, Christen and her sisters Katlyn and Kimberly lost their father Ronald Bacon after a long battle with congestive heart failure and other severe health complications that he has dealt with since the year 1999.
Ron had lost a kidney in 1999 to cancer, endured a traumatic back injury in the year 2001, had a heart attack on 2005 that shut down his only working kidney and prompted open heart surgery with a quadruple bypass. Well, the quadruple bypass was unsuccessful and Ron was given a pacemaker in 2007. He remained on dialysis for his remaining kidney from 2006 until 2011, when he was blessed with a kidney donation. Unfortunately, due to the stress on his heart, Ron had battled congestive heart failure from 2011until the present which left it nearly impossible for him to perform heavy work. All of these circumstances left him unable to work, he was forced to retire and live on a fixed income. Due to the kidney transplant, Ron ran the risk of getting I'll all the time due to his immune system having to be stripped from the anti rejection medications.
Due to having to plan two funerals within two months, we are asking help for the Bacon family in this time of need. Any donations are appreciated and will go directly to the Bacon family to cover the expenses incurred during these sudden and heart wrenching events; we are asking for any donations toward memorials, cremation and insurmountable debt and medical costs that was left behind for their family. Also the donations will help Christen Bacon and family stave off foreclosure of their childhood home and give them a safe place to raise Olivia and Aubree as well as to help get the family caught up on their regular finances due to all of these financial setbacks.
Please share this page with your friends and show your support for this family in need. No family should have to endure what this family has had to. The goal to raise for this family is $10,000 dollars to get them out of this rut and back into the black.
Thank you in advance for your love and support. #ittakesavillage #neveralone #TeamBacon
