Hi everyone, my name is Tim. I'm a recent engineering graduate who is keen to start out on my passion of inventing. I don't come from much, which I'll touch on later, but I'm hoping to get some support for my own business ventures that could one day warrant a Kickstarter, though I'm nowhere near that stage now. I'm raising funds for a small workshop setup which might include vital equipment like an actual workbench, a small desktop CNC machine, air filtering hardware, tools, tool drawers, electrical instruments, and resources and materials.
The funds will go directly to investing in equipment, storage, and safety gear that will make prototyping faster and more financially accessible than expensive and backlogged machine shops. There are a few ideas on the way which I would be excited to share once I have updates.
I don't have much on my own. I come from a broken house without a father figure or any financial support. Several home and school relocations due to mistreatment, and endless deliberate financial and emotional abuse take a hard toll on anyone, especially during the years of studying.
But times are better now. So, I'm looking to make the most of it by working on my ideas. Once set up, I'd love to tinker away on the projects that matter to me and hopefully bring them to market. I'm also waiting for the day when I'm able to give back in some way, as I appreciate nothing more than heartfelt support from strangers who don't have to give in the first place.
It's a big ask, but I would be forever grateful for your support.
