Young boy hit by drunk driver
Donation protected

We created a go fund me account for Aliyundre because he along with my younger sister Katelin were struck by a drunk driver as they we're walking their puppy on an early Sunday morning. They didn't, and still don't know what happened to them. The driver had hit them from behind. Their poor puppy died at the scene. He was a young pitbull.

My little sister got dislocated bones, and a sprained ankle along with cuts and bruises. She is now recovering at home.
But Ali got the worst of it. He was critically injured with great bodily harm. He's left femur and the rest of the leg was broken which needed surgery. He will now have rods in his leg. He has 5 fractured ribs. His lungs and kidneys we're bruised. His right shoulder needed surgery and he also had a deep cut stretching along his back which needed stitches. He is at the Albuquerque UNM Hospital. Hopefully he will be able to come home soon. Ali is a very gentle, loving, thoughtful and outgoing boy! His hobbies are going fishing, playing basketball, bike riding, jumping on his trampoline and hanging out with family and friends. But most of all, he loves pokemon. He and my younger sister had just been promoted from the fifth grade and are on their way to middle school. They were very excited to start school. Ali always wanted to join the school football team but unfortunately that's been on hold. We hope it's still possible for him to play sports and get back to doing the things he loves.
His mother and grandmother are with him at the hospital. The rest of us have to drive out from Zuni to go see him. Its about a 260 mile drive from Zuni to Albuquerque. His mother had to leave work to care for him and is unable to pay her bills. We as a family are doing our best to help each other financially. That is why we started a go fund me account. To help Aliyundre and his mother with anything that needs to be paid for. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. God bless.
