On Saturday the 4th of April (Easter Saturday), the Wilson family experienced every parent’s worst nightmare. Their beautiful young boy, Malakye — a non-verbal autistic child with ASD Level 3 and ADHD — tragically drowned after gaining access to a neighbour’s pool. He was resuscitated by his mum and is currently in critical condition in hospital in Brisbane, fighting for his life.

During this incredibly difficult time, the family has had to stop working to care for their other children and remain by Malakye’s side. They are also grieving the recent loss of their grandmother just one month ago.

We are asking for any donations, big or small, to help ease the financial burden of travel, lost wages, and ongoing expenses while they focus on what matters most — their little boy.
