Help us Launch an Education App and Platform for Afghan Girls: Reignite Hope Through Learning
Since August 15, 2021, Afghan girls have been banned from attending secondary schools and universities. This education ban has left millions of girls across the country cut off from their right to learn, grow, and build a future.
But even when schools are closed — hope doesn’t have to be.
Women for Change International, in collaboration with the Young Afghan Women's Movement, is building a secure, mobile education app to bring school directly into the homes of over 400 Afghan girls.
Through this app, girls who are barred from attending school will gain access to:
- Live and recorded classes taught by trained female educators.
- Interactive lessons in core subjects like math, science, languages, and more.
- Downloadable materials and exercises they can access anytime.
- Safe, private, and encrypted access for their protection.
- Mentorship and emotional support through a connected online community.
- This initiative will allow Afghan girls to continue their education from home, safely and discreetly, despite the current restrictions.
Your donation will help us:
- Finalize development of the Education App for Afghan Girls.
- Provide smartphones, tablets, and internet access to students in need.
- Train and support a team of dedicated female teachers.
- Develop culturally appropriate curriculum and content.
- Expand access to hundreds more girls across Afghanistan.
- This is more than just an app — it’s a bridge to opportunity, dignity, and freedom.
You can be a part of this movement. Every donation brings us one step closer to giving Afghan girls the education they deserve and the future they dream of.
Please donate today — and help us keep hope alive.
With deepest gratitude,
Women for Change International & Young Afghan Women's Movement
