We will be running a parents occupational therapy session with the Stepping Ahead Clinic in Brú na Sí Youghal (Eircode: P36 H265) on Monday 20th October at 7pm (the session will run for approx. 90 mins to 2 hours). The purpose of the session will be to inform parents of how to get the best out of the occupational therapy sessions that their children will be attending. This will also be an opportunity to meet the team from Stepping Ahead prior to the service starting in Youghal in the coming weeks

In order to cover the costs of running the initial parents session for the Youghal Occupational Therapy service, we will need a small payment from each family that is attending on the night. The total cost of the session will be €300 and we are asking parents to pay €18 each to cover this. The payment is per family, so if more than one parent is attending you will not need to pay twice. As we don't know the exact number of parents that will be attending there is a possibility that we will raise more money than is required. We would propose that any extra funds be donated to Brú na Sí which is the venue that will host our Occupational Therapy service. The Youghal Comhaltas committee has been kind enough to allow us to use Brú na Sí free of charge for occupational therapy services so it would be good if we can make a small contribution towards their electricity and heating costs.
