You Never Think It's Going To Be You

I always try to stay as positive as I can, which is why I chose this photo. This is me, Colby, happy go lucky, brightside kinda girl. I've never been physically sick past the childhood greats (measles, mumps and chicken pox) and I've injured myself once and had to have surgery. I've been blessed with a good immune system. Well, I hope that continues to be true.

In the past few months, I've been trying to find out what was up with my digestive system. I have not felt well. It took a couple of months to get an appointment with a new PC in Springfield, I guess I could have tried sooner but with Covid and all I just didn't want to get involved with hospitals.........

Last week the doctor called with a diagnoses and although I've been trying to keep certain names out of my head, I've known it was serious because I've really started to loose weight. And it is as serious as it gets

I've been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and the doctor thinks it's in other areas. Some good news is that she says it's "low grade" which means it's not developing fast, but she is suggesting a very radical and invasive surgery and then treatment.

I have watched cancer research for decades, as I am always researching something and I have never had trust for the chemical treatment for cancer and I have a definite opinion about opening my whole cavity when there are less evasive procedures for the female part of this and other treatment for anything that maybe left.

I also believe in a lot of the trials that are going on now using my own immune system and homeopathic treatments that aren't covered by my insurance.

I need help, help to pay for some of the things that my insurance won't cover and covering my part time income from working to subsidize my SS so I can stay in my apartment.
