Jackson bubby needs leg surgery!

Bubby, our sweet and wild little man needs surgery on his knee. If you know Jackson, you know he LOVES running around outside and unfortunately gets too overzealous sometimes with chasing squirrels (his favorite sport). I believe he injured his leg when exerting himself too much from running or jumping. The day before thanksgiving I noticed Jackson limping and babying one of his hind legs. Some days he would seem fine after we rested it a while and then it would go back to looking like he was in pain, not fully using that leg. One day we were at our favorite park and he started to run and slipped on ice then I heard him yelp (which I have only heard him do like 3 times ever) and I believe that's when he must have completely torn his ligament. The vet says the joint keeping his knee intact, is totally blown and the only way to fix it and for him to live a normal life of running properly and without pain, is to do this surgery. Bubby's livelihood revolves around his ability to walk and run around outside. Apparently this injury is very common in dogs his size and with his activity level. Thankfully, this surgery has a great success rate! With the surgery, his knee should be fixed for the rest of his life and without pain! The problem is that the surgery alone costs $3,500 not including the exam and x-rays that had to be done prior to confirm his injury. Jackson has become my little adventure buddy.. my best friend.. my whole world <3 And his happiness and well being is truly linked to mine now. Thinking about Jackson not being able to run and being in pain the rest of his life makes me sick and I obviously want the best for him and will do whatever I can to make that happen! Having support from our loved ones would mean THE WORLD! We appreciate any teeny support. I know life is expensive and we all have bills and loved ones we need to support.
