“You have to go to college Jayden” J Escamilla Jr

Beloved community,

I am creating a gofundme for my best friend’s son, Jayden Escamilla.

Thelma Escamilla unexpectedly lost her husband and love of her life, Jesse Escamilla, Jr., on January 3, 2022 with complications that arose from COVID.

Thelma and Jesse’s son Jayden is 15 and a sophomore in High School.

I titled this fund raiser with a quote from Jesse whom always told his son Jayden “you have to go to college”.

Thelma will be just fine for day to day living on just her income, but the plan that her and Jesse created to save for Jayden’s future college tuition, has now taken an unexpected detour.

In memory and honor of Jesse, I decided the best way to help my friend and her son, is to start this fund that can be added to his 529 Educational Savings Account.

Jayden is a hard working student with a bright future.

If you are able, let’s help him achieve his dad’s dream for him, by making funds available to Jayden in the future.

This would be in leu of flowers for the viewing/memorial for Jesse, as COVID has dictated the event to be regulated to a small private gathering.

This gift for his family, would mean so much more to him.
