To know him is to love him. Paul had a rare gift for friendship. He talked us through hard times, mentored countless young creatives, and inspired his community in sobriety. He had the gift of gab. His phone calls were legendary — always filled with empathy and wisdom. His boisterous laugh, whimsical mischief, and compassionate curiosity made his voice live inside our ears and his love live inside our hearts.
He believed in beauty, in protecting our miraculous planet, and in the reality of heaven. Paul often said he lived a good life. Those of us who knew and loved him agree — his was a magical soul.
Paul wished for a simple burial in a green cemetery. Such burials strategically prevent future development near woodlands. Paul's last wish was to be an eternal soldier, defending a piece of God’s unspoiled earth. By donating, you're helping to fulfill Paul’s last wish and helping to protect New York's native forests.
