Hello Everyone,

A cascading series of circumstances means reaching out to you all for help to urgently replace my failing computer system.

I am hoping that your goodwill and generosity will help raise the €1,500 (US$1750) needed.

It goes without saying that not replacing the computer as soon as possible (the laptop's situation more precarious with the summer heat) will make life very complicated.

A little about me: I wear a few tech- and data-related hats, web development/maintenance, ebook development, data services (migration/conversion, normalization), graphics/image editing/restoration, and text editing and fact checking.

I do have work lined up through a company I partner with, and a few independent projects ongoing. Light on the horizon.
