You can help a veteran that is disabled gain a safe and fresh start. John Donnelly served 6 years in the Navy. After his military career he went on to work full time as chef in across the national.

Though he has a passion for cooking and loves his job he recently had Congestive heart failure leading to Afib. At which point he was unable to return to work. He was denied return to work due to his need for mobility aids afterward.

John currently lives on the second floor of a inaccessible apartment unit. His landlord is has been unsympathetic even after John lived there without issue for 7 years. John had suffered through months of phone calls threatening with eviction.

Recently, the landlord tried to show up without legal permission. He accosted neighbors who stopped him from illegally throwing out all of John’s possessions while he was still in the VA hospital recovering.

These funds will help John in his recovery process and goal to get back to daily life and hopefully even work! He is eager to not live in a place where he is called every other day with his family harrassed. A place where he doesn’t have to worry his landlord will sneak in and throw his things away without the legal right to.

This money can cover;
3 months rent (for deposit and recovery time)

utility deposits for new apartment

new chair to help with knees and feet
