- My name is Ola Nassar, 40 years old, from the Gaza Strip - Palestine, and a mother of four children, one of whom was lost in the war.

On the 7th of October 2023, a devastating war broke out in the Gaza Strip and is still there. Many civilians, including my family, are paying the price. I lost my daughter with special needs due to malnutrition, lack of health services, and constant fear, as well as my older brother Ashraf 48 years old, due to the continuous bombing everywhere, and I cannot imagine losing anyone. Another, my husband lost his only source of income due to the destruction of the facility where he worked and we are now without any source of income
There were and still are difficult days when we cannot provide food, milk, and medicine for our children for two days and cook food and bread on firewood.
Unfortunately, this March we were forced to vacate our home. We owned an apartment in a residential building, and the building was completely destroyed, and we lost all our Properties, memories, and present. The future of our children has become unknown.
We had big dreams of raising and educating our children, but unfortunately we do not know what fate we are heading to. What is the fault of our children as their future is lost Under our watch?
You can imagine that in the twenty-first century we live without electricity, clean water, or human shelter, and fear follows us everywhere.
Every day, approximately 400 victims fall between dead and wounded, which puts our lives in grave danger every hour, and the only available method is to evacuate immediately to the neighboring state of Egypt.
Unfortunately, large sums of money amounting to $5,000 are imposed on each person in exchange for allowing him to leave the hell of war outside the small and besieged Gaza Strip, which has an area of less than 360 square kilometers, in addition to the costs of transportation, accommodation, and living.
I have full confidence and hope that you will contribute to providing a sum of money that will enable me and my family of 6 members to escape, even temporarily, from the hell of war.
No one knows what the future of the Gaza Strip is and the political, social and economic conditions. What is important these days is for us and our families to escape death. My husband and I made a plan to evacuate my family to Australia so that we can start a new life and live in peace, but if we are not able to do that due to political circumstances or the closure of the crossings, I will use the money. From your generous donations to rebuild our lives again in Gaza and provide our needs and a small house for our children.
