Anne & Jimi Yost are two of the most amazingly loving and wonderful people, and luckily they found each other. Their time together has always been enriched by Jimi’s beautiful children , Dillon and Anya.
Both Anne and Jimi are real life heroes. Jimi is a U.S. veteran, and Anne is a critical care nurse who has spent her entire career saving lives and making a difference. They married in 2018 and were soon blessed with a beautiful baby girl ( and baby sister), Leia. Over the past year, both Anne and Jimi have been working hard and were so excited to start the next chapter of their life in a larger home for their family of 5.
With plans to move within a month they had readied their belongings in a storage facility in theirapartment complex. Packed full of memories, love and promise of a beautiful future, their storage room housed unopened gifts from their wedding, Anne’s wedding dress, Jimi’s military keepsakes, a beloved guitar collection and items to help make their new place feel like home. Other items, things that don’t have any monetary value to anyone but are priceless to Anne, Jimi, Dillon and Anya were also in the storage room.
Today, I received a text from Anne (a portion of the text is posted here.. I couldn’t get the whole thing to post) telling me that their storage room had been burglarized. ALL items were taken, including the little outfit Leia wore home from the hospital.
The security cameras caught nothing more than 4 masked men brazenly stealing their belongings, a getaway car with a driver in it and a blurred license plate. According to the police the footage isn’t enough to help them identify the burglars.The insurance policy they have doesn’t cover a 1/3 of the value of the items, let alone the priceless items that hold beautiful, irreplaceable memories.
In total, the estimated value of the stolen items is $50,000.
