This weekend life for Yoshi and us got flipped upside down. We woke up Saturday morning to Yoshi having his first, ever seizure. And unfortunately Yoshi would then suffer 2 more. In the span of 1 hour, Yoshi experienced 3 separate seizures. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where he was kept there for 24 hours to be monitored.
Since then, he’s come back home. His blood levels returned normal making doctors speculate that this may be a neurological problem. Yoshi is 3 and a half years old, with no previous health conditions. Since he was a puppy we’ve always tried our best to make sure he leads happy and healthy life. He means the world to us and because of that we want to give him the best life we can.
We aren’t sure what caused this to happen to our seemingly healthy little boy. The doctors have their guesses that this may be epilepsy. However, doctors can only speculate - there’s no way to tell for sure unless we get an MRI.
An MRI will allow the vets to determine, with certainty, the cause of his seizures. In doing so, we’ll be able to treat whatever it is that may cause future ones. Without it, we’ll never know what it may be.
Every cent collected will go towards his MRI ($3500) & accompanying vet costs. We can’t express how grateful we are as anything helps at this time, it truly means so much
