Yoshi Hirota Family Fund

Yoshikazu (Yoshi) Hirota, a master chef from Kobe, Japan, who was employed as Executive Sushi Chef at Ozumo in San Francisco, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2019 in Walnut Creek, California.   He was 56 years old.

Yoshi loved jazz and had an encyclopedic knowledge of jazz history, and a wonderful quiet sense of humor.  

Yoshi leaves behind his wife Nana, son Ryuya, and daughter Sara.   Yoshi's children are in college and high school, and friends would like to help with family expenses.   Any contributions to this GoFundMe fund on their behalf will be greatly appreciated.
