This year, everyone at Futures is supporting Yorkshire Cancer Research!

We’re already 20% of the way towards our £2,000 goal, and every penny helps to make the change needed in the region hit hardest by cancer.

Yorkshire Cancer Research is a local and very important charity to Futures. Every 17 minutes, someone in Yorkshire is told they have cancer, and YCR are dedicated to changing that.

With your help, our fundraising goes towards finding new cancer cures and bringing them to people in Yorkshire, so that you and the people you love can enjoy more moments together.

Our £2,000 can:

• Allow 40 people in Yorkshire to participate in a clinical trial.

• Fund a researcher to find better treatments for 100 hours.

• Fund a researcher developing new cancer cures for two weeks

• Support two people through the free "Active Together" program (that assists patients in preparing for and recovering from treatment).

All the way from May to September, the aim of the game is for our teams to compete against each other in raising as much money as they can.

From your classic marathons and bake sales to some more out-there ideas, we are doing all that we can to exceed our target.

We hope that this challenge puts a large amount towards our £2,000 goal for 2026.
