Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Dogs in Brazil
Donation protected
Hi! So I’ve decided to embark on a small journey in June 2025, running firstly 100 miles across the Scottish southern uplands; a journey I attempted last year but sadly pulled out on medical grounds. Followed in very quick succession by a trip up the Pennine way, 268 miles from Edale, Derbyshire to Kirk Yetholm in Scotland. I’m hoping to raise funds to support two charities I hold dear; The Yorkshire air ambulance and Dogs in Brazil. I’ll be splitting any sponsorship in equal 50:50 parts.
Did you know the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service receives no funding from either the government or the NHS! They rely entirely on the generosity of supporters. I’d love to help continue this amazing work in some small way.
Most of my friends are also aware that for almost 15yrs now, my wife & I have helped to support a husband & wife team based over in Brazil, rescuing street dogs and other animals. We’ve previously fund raised to buy a small holding and property to ensure their vital work continues but since Carlos became seriously ill we need to step up and help Jan in any way we can.
Please consider even the smallest donation. Once the events are complete I will make the final payments.
A Huge thank you & wish me luck!
