Hi everyone,
I wanted to share something important I’m doing this summer.
In July, I’ll be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge — a 24‑mile hike across three mountains in under 12 hours. It’s going to be tough, but I’m doing it for a very personal reason.
- Last September, we lost our wonderful mum after a brave five‑year fight with cancer and paraneoplastic syndrome. Throughout those years, and especially towards the end, the Jigsaw Unit at Bournemouth Hospital provided incredible care, compassion, and support — not just for Mum, but for all of us as a family. Their kindness made such a difficult time more bearable, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
So, I’m taking on this challenge in Mum’s memory, and to give something back to the team who gave us so much.
