Yonni Survival Fund

On Sunday June 21, 2020 Yonni was being a child playing in the yard during daylight amongst other children, parents and her father for a Father’s Day gathering. When a car with a female driver, and male passenger approached the event in a troubled manner. In less than 3 minutes shots were fired and one single bullet struck DiYonna in the skull. The only person and child caught in the unnecessary gunfire. She fought long and hard, underwent multiple surgeries, and beat the odds by God’s grace. Unfortunately, Yonni’s mother Shaeela Simpson had to stop working immediately after returning to work due to a global pandemic, to properly care for her seriously injured child. She may never be the exact same Yonni, but she’s still here with us and a living testimony at 8 years old experiencing and surviving something most of us will never understand. On top this absolutely unexpected,, unfair incident. Shaeela has to take care of her daughter who suffers behind it, and her 4 siblings with out being able to return to work. This fund is to help DiYonna, her mother, and siblings try to get back on the path to their normal lives again. Please donate, everything is appreciated, no donation is too small!

Deshonna Minor & family are asking for prayers for her granddaughter as well as donations during this extremely tough time! Thanks in advance!! GOD BLESS!!
