Yoni Fogelman's Debut Classical Album

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

In just over a month, I will be recording my DEBUT classical album, "One By One." This album has been a dream of mine for quite some time, and I am thrilled to finally turn it into a reality. Forty-five minutes of original music, all for strings and all professionally recorded and filmed at Silent Zoo Studios. Silent Zoo works with top composers and recording artists to produce albums, scores, and videos. I have heard the studio’s unbeatable recordings firsthand, and the opportunity to produce an album in this space is an opportunity like no other. They work closely with production studios (Disney, Warner Bros, Netflix, et al.), and their credits include Star Trek, The Simpsons, The Avengers, It, and hundreds more.

The chance to work with Silent Zoo Studios alone is a dream come true for any composer, but the dream does not end there. Embarking on this journey with me is an incredible Los Angeles-based string quartet featuring Stephanie Yu (violin), Hwi-Eun Kim (violin), Karoline Menezes (viola), and Christine Kim (cello). These women are some of the finest string players in town, having played individually with the LA Phil, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (YOLA), many studio orchestras, and even at Coachella. Collaborating with them to prepare and record these pieces is a true blessing.

With these great opportunities ultimately come hefty costs. I have been working and saving money while in school to fund my ambitions, but to realize these goals I am humbly reaching out to family, friends, and our extended communities to ask for any additional support possible. Every little bit counts, and each dollar gets me one step closer to my goal of releasing this album at the highest possible professional standard. All donations will be going directly to compensate the musicians for their rehearsals and recording time, and promote and distribute the recordings and music videos. I am so grateful for the guidance and encouragement from my family, friends, and mentors as I have been writing this music and preparing the album, and I am so excited for this big milestone in my musical journey!
